Polaroids

With the Polaroid, we have nothing, but magic. We surrender all control. We are subject to over or underexposed photographs, out of date and damaged film, light leaks can occur, but your reward is a unique image, with subtle tones, colours and compositions. You're relying on the distance to focus and are aware of an off-centre viewfinder. You have to take a chance and hope you have the correct distance from the object and the flash allows in just the right amount of light. There are no second chances, but often ‘mistakes’ are created accidentally with far more interesting results.
